I wear contact lenses: can I apply makeup?
For your eyes only - I wear contact lenses: can I apply makeup? Should I take extra precautions?
Contact lenses do not prevent you from wearing makeup or using eye creams, as long as you follow a few simple rules: remove makeup with a gel or lotion that does not leave an oily film on your conjunctiva. As for makeup, opt preferably for cream textures rather than powder eyeshadows. Avoid mascaras that contain fibers, remove your contact lenses before makeup removal and avoid getting product in your eyes.
Suggestions
Wear sunglasses in the sun.
If your eyelids are red, use the LIERAC product DIOPTICALM.
If your eyes tear up and sting, consult your ophthalmologist: you may have a problem with your contact lenses.
