Spaghetti straps, classic straps, low straps, sport straps, lace straps, support straps: straps are not simply an accessory to hold your bra in place. These few millimeters of fabric have their own distinctive character. They can make you happy and comfortable, or irritable as they dig into your shoulders; they can lift you up or let you down... In a word, choosing the right straps should factor into your decision when buying a bra.

Stretch straps provide a controlled fit and comfort. Usually designed with low-stretch elastic to reduce bounce.

Non-stretch or rigid straps sometimes offer support and stability and are ideal for sportswear of full-figured styles. All non-stretch shoulder straps have an elastic release section in the back for comfort and adjustment.
