Choosing the right Bras
Band and Cup
1 - Determine Your Band Size:
* Measure around your rib cage directly underneath the bust
* hold the measuring tape straight around the body; it should rest snuggly and smoothly against the skin
* add five inches to this measurement to determine the band size
2. Determine the Cup Size:
* measure around the fullest part of the bust, preferably while wearing an unpadded bra
* Caution: Holding the tape too snug will compress the bust and give a false measurement.
* the difference between this measurement and the Band size is your cup size:
o if difference is 1, cup size A
o if difference is 2, cup size B
o if difference is 3, cup size C
o if difference is 4, cup size D
o if difference is 5, cup size DD
For in-between measurements, always try sizes above and below and adjust hooks to find a comfortable fit.
