What if we went to Santa Monica for 3 days in search of well-being and rejuvenation? Day Three

What if we went to Santa Monica for 3 days in search of well-being and rejuvenation?
Beach, bike, yoga, farmer's markets and healthy gourmet break!

Day 3
With numerous green spaces and wide sandy stretches, it’s no surprise many of Santa Monica’s fitness classes and wellness experiences are held outdoors.

There’s nothing quite like listening to crashing waves, spotting dolphins in the distance as you flow through yoga positions during one of Beach Yoga SoCal’s classes. You’ll walk away feeling rejuvenated, after feeling the sand in your toes and listening to the sounds of the ocean.

Crafting a weight-loss-friendly breakfast in Santa Monica involves selecting nutritious and satisfying foods that support your health goals while complementing the area’s vibrant culinary scene. After being lulled by the sound of the waves, it’s time to nourish the body. Head to Dogtown Coffee where the owners have developed a gourmet gourmand menu focused on health and weight loss. Fewer calories but just as much fun.

For a different view of the sunset, take a stroll through Palisades Park. This 26.4-acre (10.7-hectare) public space stretches along the bluffs of Santa Monica, offering uninterrupted vistas of the coastline. End your evening with dinner at Birdie G’s, located in Santa Monica’s Mid-City Neighborhood. With a diverse menu designed by Award-Winning Chef Jeremy Fox, dishes pay homage to midwestern comfort food – with a Southern California twist.

For our pleasure, the chef gives us his recipe for Sliced Kirby Pickles.
