The harvest of Tiare flowers is very demanding. From small, star-shaped radiant white flowers emanates a very unique, mesmerizing fragrance. To keep it intact, the closed floral buds are picked by hand every day at sunrise. Assembled in packages of a hundred , the floral buds are then wrapped in Auti leaves (similar to banana tree leaves) to better protect them before the petals are removed by hand the same day.

Tahitian Monoi that is AOC certified is obtained by macerating 100 fresh tiare flowers in 1L of Coconut oil, grown exclusively in the coralline and volcanic soils of French Polynesia.
