“New Year, New You”

We all have our reasons for falling into bad habits—being short on time, copying the actions of our friends and family, or even laziness. This New Year, break bad habits and set attainable goals by committing to make small changes in your daily routine. Take the stairs up to the office instead of the elevator, replace a daily sugary beverage with a tall glass of water and turn off personal communication devices for a couple minutes of “me-time” before bed.

Making time to floss, rinse and brush for two minutes twice daily is another small change that can have a huge impact on your health and well-being. Even though it’s known to help prevent gingivitis, only 30 per cent of Canadians currently follow the dentist-recommended at-home oral care routine.

Check it out and see how you can break bad habits by setting attainable goals this year. It’s a new year, and new you.
