Guerlain unveils a new bottle for their classic best-seller, Shalimar. This new setting was designed by jewelry and clothing designer Jade Jagger, daughter of Mick Jagger and his first wife, Bianca. A free-spirited, bohemian artist, fan of travel and design, Jade Jagger, 38, has redesigned Shalimar’s silhouette without betraying either the lines or the spirit. The bottle and stopper are somewhat rounder and less angular, yet more facetted, too. Jade Jagger has reintroduced the foot of the bottle, which was initially present on the extract version. As a nod to the extract’s baudruche cord, the designer came up with a leather-look ribbon to adorn the bottle’s ring. Delicately conceived modifications for this classic, created 85 years ago by Jacques Guerlain.

Idylle, then Eau de Parfum and now Eau de Toilette, confirms that when you give your body, you are not far from committing your soul. This new opus is more exuberant, more "neroli-freesia," yet also more extroverted, more uplifting and fresher, as if stripped of its finery. Almost naked, the fragrance swathes itself in the skin scents of feather-light musks, while the chypre accord is embraced by an ylang-ylang more delicate than the breath of a kiss.

The new edition, just like the original, was created by Thierry Wasser, inspired by Bulgarian rose therefore more floral.

Flacon of Idylle EDT is shaped like a golden drop and is shinier and has more sparks than EDP.
