Clairol developed a proprietary Natural Hair Color Model using thousands of virgin hair samples from all over the world that charts the colour space that all naturally occurring hair shades fall into. If a Nice ‘n Easy shade falls into the same colour space then it looks natural. Any shade falling outside the colour space has been completely recalibrated and reformulated to fit within the space.

What is dimension and why is it important?
Dimension is the variation in lightness (luminance) in hair colour that creates a reflective sunlit quality. Too high a variation produces poor grey coverage while too low a variation results in “blockish”, unnatural looking colour.
