If you want your eyebrows to look real—which, of course you do—it’s important that they aren’t one solid shape or color. Study any (real) eyebrow for a few seconds and you’ll notice that the hair is generally finer at the front, becoming more concentrated towards the middle and through the tail. To help make your eyebrows not appear tattooed on, it’s essential to replicate this fade when filling them in. Put less product at the front of your eyebrows, adding more as you reach the ends, and you’ll achieve a similar look.

Instead of going into tweezing without a game plan, fill in your eyebrows first. Use an eyebrow pencil or eyebrow powder to help create the exact shape you want, and then only tweeze the hairs that fall outside of the shape you made.  

Novices to eyebrow shaping and shading can benefit from using an eyebrow stencil. Just place these plastic stencils over your eyebrows and use your preferred eyebrow makeup to fill inside. Remove the stencil when you’re done, and you’re good to go.
