Clean your make-up brushes!
Too often we forget to clean our make-up brushes and applicators (for cheeks, powder, eyebrows, etc.) The result: the powder goes on less smoothly and less evenly. Wash your brushes several times in warm water with a drop of shampoo. Remove the excess water and the product adhering to the bristles by drawing the brush back and forth over an old ratine. The motion should be light so as not to spread open the bristles, otherwise you'll end up with a dishevelled brush! Dry it well without pressing on it so that you don't destroy the shape or bend the bristles, smoothing the bristles into shape every so often with your hand to keep them from clumping. Be sure your brush is completely dry before using - otherwise you'll end up with paste!
